Indian Doctrine

India has been an epitome of tolerance. Like a deity who bestows on us with tolerant skills and no controller to vary its parameters according to its needs. This is what we are taught since childhood. This is our cultural upbringing and have never gone at par as the situations have demanded over the ages. Our small heads unknowingly get wisely taught about our civilisation and behavioural attitude towards human being. A weird elementary lesson of kindness is inherited in our worldly bodies to bear and go on with those without much significant reactions. We had been looted but are lucky to be fair with the help of some diplomatic and selfish British brains with whom we could construct our country driving book, the biggest of its kind, the Indian Constitution. Somehow we are proud of what we have got as a country and its rules to reside in. Actually the rules say to be a human to be a dutiful citizen, other than this it expects nothing from us. Our society is stratified but not our economy on its basis. Our secularism, liberalism and fraternity(in one word ‘Democracy’) describe Indian society as egaletarian with no exception on any basis. And when our constitutional secularism and real life implications come face to face they somehow always fail to reflect each other. Democracy fails to sustain almost in every federal issue of Indian Federation. Undoubtedly the largest democratic federation of the world are again lucky enough to have been enjoying the same political and civil rights of citizenship all over the country. Mere fights out of political corruptions and ego hurt the citizens of India more than anything else. Here fights refers to cold or hot on the basis of vulnerability of the political faces. Here steps taken often contradict fraternity, liberalism and seldom secularism. So it connotes a weakness of liberalism lies in the intention and implication of stopping others from being liberal. This is an example where our constitution fails and are brought under the eyes of the guards of the legislation. However be the conflicts among various states in India as these always have been since thousands of years, we keep it among ourselves. And no one to blame for such federal issues but ourselves. As is expandable our democracy so is open our fraternity. As we put forward our fraternity to our bellicose neighbour they assault back with more daunting than the last attack. And the most impeccable democratic barrier stands tall when we suffer from animosity from our neighbour. Preposterous actions are taken which are so much at par our democratic delusion. And much to our impatience we condemn our fraternity and long surviving culture of secularism.
As the bullet bearers belong to the same culture of assimilation they never fail to show allegiance even with the fire of vengeance inside.
Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose showed us the way it is done. With utmost veneration towards our constitution and Armed Forces we must let the avengers loose for the first time(I guess). From the literate and dutiful citizens and members of legislative assemblies of our country amendments of some needful acts have to be put forward for the sake of our country and our soldiers so that they can take actions on their own at certain predescribed spur of emergency. Because it won’t harm our fraternal and democratic practices, it might only liberalise the defence system of our sovereignty when needed.

এই কথাতে অবাক হয়েচেয়ে দেখে সবাই,

এই প্রাচীন নগরীর চেনা গন্ধেলোক অনেক থাকে।

The 15th August of 2011

On this day in the year 1947 we got independency from the British Rule.  That means our body is controlled by our mind now,I meant we can do whatever we want. And so this is called independency! That means we have written our constitution,we have our own rules for our country, and independency in every where. We produce for our citizens, that’s also a sign of being independent. We have our own business policies for export and import of goods. Now think the way I am writing-
We are all independent,no one can stop us from doing or saying anything, the result may be bad or good, that’s different. 😛 We are so independent that we can stop anyone from being independent. We can stop one’s way and take his/her things at ease. Government employees(you know what I meant) are also independent, they will think whether they will work for the complaint or not. So independent we are! We can spit anywhere, who has the guts to stop us? We can break traffic rule,we make our own rules, but for that we have to invest a little bit of money for the public servants, some times 10rupees is more than enough to make our own rules! So people who say “are we really independent?” ,please read this and feel your independency 😉 .  So if you think we are still not independent, then do something to make yourself and your nation independent. 🙂 Come on…

Kolkata Lives…2

I was just off with this topic,as it’s not so easy to give information about a city like calcutta.
Actually Calcutta has many bads and some to much conveniences which one can’t expect in a foreign city ,or any other city of India too. South Calcutta where I live in,here is many posh areas like southern avenue, ballygunge circular road,Jodhpur Park. In this post I am going to tell about some food courts of calcutta and their atmospheres.
I was in peter cat on 31st october, the foods they provide are quite good in the true sense, they have their permission for drinking publicly inside the restaurant, but for the price of drinks one should think about it. But price for the food should worth that, not high price with good quality, that’s what every body demands. There is no chinese foods.
I had experienced Kwality too. I really like the food of this restaurant, really, very nice atmosphere, with a separate smoking zone, in case of atmosphere I will keep Kwality before Peter Cat. For foods both of these provides value for money!
Another very nice food provider is DHABA,at ballygunge phari, opposite to Kwality. One will never think for money when he is in DHABA. Prices are comparatively almost same with PC and Kwality. I would refer one to the Fish Tandoori of DHABA,a must have thing when one is going to DHABA. Ground and 2nd floor are non air conditioned, and the 1st floor is air conditioned with same quality of food in each floor! I had eaten in ground and 2nd floor,2nd floor has a asbestos shed…but wait, don’t think it’s nasty place, yeah it has not the ethics may be,but too good quality of food one can get there! I will give these three places the same rankings.
Yeah, another one restaurant Marco Polo,at Southern Avenue, it’s costlier than the previous three,I would say it’s costlier only due to the polish and varnishes! Food is not that higher standard! In the southern avenue branch there is no chinese dishes available,I can’t tell about the Park Street branch!
And a very popular amongst the riches is Mainland China. It’s too costly for nothing. I would say if you want to enjoy don’t go there,it would burn your pocket dissatisfying your stomach! I have visited the place at South City for once!
These are the food places I have experienced.
For ice cream I would say buy from any shop,Amul Swirl 🙂 ,very nice.Or if one has to go to any parlour of ice cream,go to Hobby Center at Park Street!
For juice I am saying about Paramount,at college street, but it is not that good with respect to the money it takes!
For coffee parlour,I would prefer Cafe Coffee Day(CCD). They though take enough money for one cup of coffee, but overall a lively atmosphere, and good behaviour of the waiters leads me to go there again and again. I would say go to South City CCD.
These are the well popular places to eat and drink. Oh yeah I  forgot to mention about a place where one can drink wine,is at his home! 🙂 or if outside one can choose Oly Pub at Park Street!
Some eating places at footpath are also really nice like the almost all place at Park Street, though there atmosphere is very bad, pollution, crow shit, everything one has to face 🙂 and specially when I see the plates they are reusing after only a nominal wash with pretty dirty water I just have to move my eyes away from those, otherwise one can’t eat there..but when you taste the food,it’s quite good…and for dhosa one should visit Dakshinapan at Dhakuria Busstand! For Paan I would keep Park Street or North Calcutta is far far better than South Calcutta.
And don’t eat phuchkas other than South Calcutta, here you can get cheapest quality phuchkas,7pieces in 5Rs,I asked a phuchka wala at park street,he said 5pieces in 10 rupees!!! 🙂 So just think.

World Cup Special(19/1/2011)

So this is only 30days left for the ICC World Cup,2011,which will be hosted by India(majorly),Srilanka and Bangladesh. My hope, and I can say that the hope of all Indian is on Team India, led by MS Dhoni. This is the strongest team I have ever witnessed. Where there is opener like Sachin -Sehwag,there is nothing to be worried of. If they can’t,then it’s impossible. And there is strong middle order like Kohli,Yuvraj,Dhoni,Raina,Yusuf Pathan. What else one should expect more! I don’t. Only the key is that they have to perform up to their best. And I know that they are going to be the killer one. There are total 49 matches to be held.
First one is India vs Bangladesh,at Shere Bangla National Stadium,Mirpur. And the final will be at Wankhede Stadium,Mumbai. And one more thing to mention is only match of India that will be played at Eden Gardens,is India vs England!
I am sure that Sachin will be a treat to watch,in the tournament as usual. Best of luck to my country. I pray for us.

The Sachin Tendulkar

A name that defines cricket, describes what is batting, may be in a strange manner. He came to Indian Cricket Team in 1989,at a age of 16years,when I was still not born. But he started playing ODI from my birth date,18/12/1989,that is a heavenly feeling when I remind this. He,in a so little age batted against some of the best bowlers of all times,he was totally different and has been flawless till now, only for 21years,more appropriately picture perfect creator of all cricketing shots. Two type of batsmen are there in world cricket-1)Sachin, and 2)other batsmen. All accept this, not only me! He has got nothing to achieve any more. He plays for his country like a soldier dies for his country. He has got  50 centuries in Test cricket, and 46 in ODI,so total of 96. 100 centuries are knocking at his bat.None at present is comparable with him,but I don’t know why he is compared with bradman…  sachin’s style, way of batting is so perfect that one can’t move his eyes while he is in song. Bradman is someone else,Sachin is Sachin, not a batsman yet anymore. He is a reference frame, with respect to what one can measure his own batting capability. He is the creator of a rare, and one only age of cricket name SACHIN’s AGE of CRICKET. He can’t be described by anyone, none has the capability to criticize about him,if someone does so then he is a fool. One will never get bored by seeing repeatedly a shot played by Sachin. His batting video can heal one’s sadness in no time! He is above everything in cricket,a real hero of our INDIA. We are all so proud of Sachin that he will ever be remembered till the earth dies!

My drawing senses

From my childhood days, like from the age of 3 or 4 i.e. when I was getting into my senses faster than before i.e. when I began to handle the pencil and paper,I was attracted by pencil drawing,I have always been having a addiction to pencil, colour sketch pencils(not crayons actually). I also used to try paintings with cube shaped water colours in my little age with long days. I always have been having the love with mathematics and drawing. I was learned Chess in a very little age,and used to win over my father, who was a good quality player. That really lifts me up sometimes still now! Seeing my addiction in drawing my father took me to a nearby drawing school when I was in 2nd standard,in 1996. I used to be regular there, but didn’t feel much interest for that place. The teacher was seriously good in the true sense of the word. He was an aged person, likely to be in his 60s in the year of 1996. He was a nice person, very down to earth, and well mannered which was necessary for the children to feel free with him. I hope he is still living healthily.

In that age I was not at all serious in anything, and so in drawing. We were used to shown pencil sketches, crayon sketches, painting done instantly by him. His quality was genuine infact. As I told earlier that I had not been serious at all, actually no one can be so sincere in that age. So whatever he might want to teach us,his tries used to go to vain,I have no doubt about that. I am saying now that I could understand whatever he wanted to show. But from the very early days of my life I have been having a huge confidence on myself on everything I love to do. That’s why my habit is not to hear any lessons taught by any teacher, but to notice the topic. So it happened to drawing classes also. He gave us home work,I used to do this in my way,and ever got appreciation. I was the best in that class, that’s for no doubt, may be because I always pour my best into my drawings, atleast in the recent years. I feel heavenly peace when I can complete my drawings successfully.

Whatever I left that school when I was in 4th standard,in 1998. That was not a big sorrow to me! I never felt that that was the end of my drawing and I would never be able to draw independently again…! Now I can say I am not at all mature at that stage, but not very immature too, because What I used to draw, naturally the quality was not that good compared to now,and the great thing was I could understand that in that stage. And I knew what I was drawing was not appreciable to me,I never felt satisfied with my drawings, but still other people used to appreciate seeing a little boy’s drawing. My dissatisfaction may be because I couldn’t visualise the light and shadows properly, may be I couldn’t feel what may be the proper angle, atlast what may be the way to construct a fascinating picture with the pencil. One thing I forgot to mention about me is that I don’t have too much patience. So I think that I left painting with that school, because painting is something which tests your patience and make your pockets lighter. The exact ratio of colour water is very is the main thing in water colour. As I am illiterate in drawing as well as in painting I don’t have too much theoretical knowledge about painting atleast. And naturally in the little ages I used to be unsuccessful in painting. That made me down and lose the love on that. It’s too time taking too. And I don’t like the way the painter paints and construct paintings. These are too bad to me. Actually I don’t like abstract drawings or paintings and I don’t like paintings which seems to be done inaccurately intentionally. I like accurate things which shows the mirror image of the actual body, like the painting of Monalisa,The Last Supper by Leonardo D’Vinci -these are called ultimate paintings, but modern paintings are craps.

For proper constructions of pictures through paintings are difficult because for representing a mirror image effect, right amount of colour and water have to be used at right moments, and a small mistake in this leads your painting sheet to be thrown out of the window. And so my impatience doesn’t permit me to paint.

I was not totally out of touch from pencil sketch. From 6th to 9th I used to draw sometimes, but not like so appreciable, not upto my satisfaction, because I was not there in it,may be. From 10th to 12th standard I was busy in career making(what a line,I never thought of writing such line!!). So when I admitted to NSEC,I was in first year,I impatiently drew my face sitting in front of mirror. Then in 2nd year I drew two consecutive pictures of Shahrukh Khan, one was smoking and one was shocking. Those were eyes killing to people. Shocking one was severely appreciated by everyone. I will always feel proud on my right hand. It has helped me to rediscover myself in many cases…!! Actually the real mirror like drawings are being come out from my hand after 10 years of leaving that drawing school. Actually I draw when I find peace(in the mid night) and when I automatically lead myself in creating the wonders! I draw to the best of my feelings and sights. Actually I find a absolute satisfaction in playing with light and shadow with the pencils, they are quite old,and some are new too. In every drawing I take my absolute test on it,if it doesn’t satisfies me I surely declare ‘fail’. But that have never happened since I project my views with my hand properly as I have always wanted to. I have succeeded now for many times. I sometimes look to my right hand and I get fascinated by these wonders created by me. Don’t worry many are still to come, but I don’t know when I will catch the mood to draw again,it never comes forcefully, and forces never creates wonders, forces are only for destruction. I believe in that.

In the loneliness of the darkness,I can project the art of heaven,
as each time the eyes and mind push my hand in creating another eden!”

Some of my pencil drawings are-

NSEC for Engineers

Other than IIT Kharagpur and NIT Durgapur, the list of top engineering colleges in West Bengal is somehow like that-
1]Jadavpur University(JU)
2]Bengal Engineering and Science University(BESU)
3]Institute of Engineering and Management(IEM)
4]Netaji Subhash Engineering College(NSEC)/St.Thomas/B.P Poddar/Techno India Saltlake
.and so on.
Now top two are under W.B Government and BESU is almost 100 years old. Elder than any other college in W.B. JU is almost 60 years old. And some other Government Colleges like Jalpaiguri Engineering College is not considered as too good as JU and BESU. Now colleges are preferred by students based on popularity and the amount of students get jobs in campus interviews. My college NSEC is considered as one of the best private engineering colleges in W.B. Because I think it is the oldest private engineering college in W.B,since 1998,and some other reasons are –

In 2005 the college was given accreditation from the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for
B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering. In April 2008 the same accreditation was given for Information Technology. The college was also selected for an educational grant from the World Bank in its Technical Education Quality Improvement Program (TEQIP) as one of the few institutes in West Bengal. NSEC ranked Second in Project Implementation of TEQIP (following Jadavpur University which achieved first place in West Bengal). That is why this institute is regarded as one of the best in West Bengal based on the number of students who prefer this college over many other private engineering colleges of the state. But preference of JU and BESU over NSEC is only because of the much more fees per semester and less campussing. But quality is not at all different.
May be so students with better ranks choice JU and BESU as 1
st and 2nd . But in JU and BESU student who doesn’t deserve to get a job,get job. None sits idle there. But because of less amount of campus interviews in NSEC many deserved students do not get the chance to get a job. But I think that does not degrade the quality of NSEC. NSEC has the qualities which one college should possess for being a good engineering college. So for being too newer and for the fee structure it lags behind JU and BESU. And I don’t accept IEM as a engineering college, because it has no core engineering department in it. But still many students who doesn’t get Electronics and Telecommunication in JU go to IEM instead of BESU,here also the reason is campussing !! Being a too younger college than JU or BESU its achievement is very much appreciable. And last but not the least I being a standard student I am gladfor being a Electrical Engineering student of NSEC. And that ‘s why I could compare these colleges among them.

I was a 17 years old boy when I appeared for the H.S and WBJEE. I got admitted to Netaji Subhash Engineering College(NSEC). This is one of the best private engineering colleges and one of the best engineering colleges of West Bengal. There is JU,BESU reknowned as engineering degree colleges. They are admired by the students and are the first preferences after WBJEE result is out. But this admiration is there only for their ages. My college NSEC was established in 1998 with EE, ECE, CSE. It is now 12 years old,but a very good college in the true sense. NSEC is no lesser than JU except in area of campus, and that’s not a matter actually. We have to think though NSEC is only 12 years old,but it has achieved a lots of respects and many costly stuffs. I am quite sure that it’s not far away that it will be recognized nationally. The locality is a suburban area, and college is under WBSEB,that’s a problem. It has no hostel facility. There are lots of house for rent for the outsider students to stay. Me and DK was school friends from class XI, DK’s rank in WBJEE was 4970 and mine was 4983,so we decided to go to the same college. We went to the pre councelling at Netaji Indoor Stadium. We both voted for NSEC. We decided to take Electrical Engineering as it is a core engineering subject. And the Electrical Department of NSEC is too good to experience.

Tendulkar in a deserved look

Sachin Tendulkar has been conferred Indian Air Force’s honorary rank of Group Captain.
Under the provision of grant of honorary rank by Armed Forces to eminent personalities acknowledging their contribution towards the nation, the President and the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of India conferred Tendulkar the honorary rank of Group Captain of the Indian Air Force. Earlier the Air Force had said that besides the recognition, Sachin’s association with the IAF will motivate the younger generation to join the Air Force to serve the country. Tendulkar is the first sportsperson to be conferred this honour. He is also the first person with no aviation background to have got this honour.

After being a Mega servant of India,he deserves this respect, which Indian Air Force has shown to him. One of the greatest of India who makes us to feel proud, and makes us to respect and love him more and more with days. As the name is Sachin Tendulkar, today in 2010 every Indian should agree to this decision of IAF.
